"Thank you Celia Velasquez, for your excellent service, was fast, clear, very professional, and I love your personality." Ingrid C.

"I have had the pleasure of working with Ms. Velasquez. She explained the process of notarising, then guided me through the documents which needed initialing and those that needed signatures. Each document was explained thoroughly, and all my questions were answered. When I needed a notary again, I chose Ms. Velasquez." Pam K.
About Centennial Notary Public
Hi, my name is Celia Velasquez, and I am a mobile, trilingual notary. Since becoming a notary in 2020, I have successfully completed over 1,000 notarial signings throughout the Greater Denver Area. I meet you or your client wherever life’s important moments are happening, providing service with kindness and cultural sensitivity. I am fluent in English, Spanish, and French.
My Story
I first discovered the significance and honor of being a notary during a trip to Honduras. My parents needed to close an inactive bank account in the United States, so we visited the American Embassy to have a Power of Attorney notarized, allowing me to act on their behalf. Witnessing the formal oath administered to my parents, I was struck by the gravity and transformative power of notarized documents.
ā
I am committed to providing my signers with the best possible customer service experience. Effective communication, courtesy, punctuality, and ensuring a smooth transaction are at the heart of everything I do.
ā
Having traveled extensively, I have developed a deep cultural sensitivity that allows me to connect with signers, helping them feel at ease during stressful moments such as a mortgage closing or other life-changing document signings.
ā
Being a notary has been incredibly rewarding. I love meeting people and learning about the circumstances that bring them to me. From helping first-time homebuyers, assisting with an I-9 form for a new job, facilitating inheritance claims in other countries, ensuring parental authorization for travel through consent forms, and notarizing fertility-related documents—I feel honored to be part of these critical life moments.
ā
āāI provide notarial services for: Power of Attorney, Real Estate Documents, Trust Packages, Life Planning and Wills, Quit Claim Deeds, Affidavits, Bills of Sale, Travel Permission Forms, Car Title, Apostilles, I-9 Verification or any type of General Notary Work.
ā
How the Signing Works
ā
Typically, I receive a call from someone requesting a notarization. The first thing I do is ask about the document to ensure I can legally notarize it. For example, if the document is in a language I do not understand, I am unable to notarize it—but I will gladly help you find a notary who does.
ā
Next, I ask if you have the document ready. While this may seem like an unusual question, in some Latin American countries, notaries have the authority to draft legal documents. However, in Colorado, that is not the case, so please ensure you have a physical hard copy available for notarization.
ā
I also confirm that you have a valid, government-issued, unexpired ID. Acceptable forms include a driver’s license, passport, green card, military ID, and other official identification.
ā
For hospital visits, Will, and Trust signings, I always check that the signer is alert and aware before proceeding.
ā
Notarization Fees
ā
Each notarization is $15. If we meet at my local library—The Smoky Hill Library in Centennial—I charge a small travel fee in addition to the notarization fee. If I travel to your home, I will provide the total cost upfront based on the number of notarizations and the travel distance.

"Awesome To Work With"
"Celia was on time and very sweet to work with. And has an easy going way about her. She explained everything in good quick detail. Highly recommend her!" Macy M.
"Celia helped us twice with paperwork that needed notarized. This is a normal process; however, our paperwork was in French and none of the banks we visited would touch it. If it hadn’t been for Celia we may not have gotten our documents completed. The second set she did for us also required an apostle. I had no idea what was required and she provided the answers! I highly recommend her services." Pam F.
